Chain Trenching
Chain trenching utilises a continuous looped chain, similar to a large chainsaw to cut a channel (trench) to a predetermined depth and width into the ground. The soil removed is deposited adjacent to the trench ready for replacing after the pipe is laid.
Where surface disruption is not an issue or the ground is unsuited to impact moling Chain Trenching offers a viable alternative, especially across grass or harversted fields.
A chain trencher with operator, suitable for Private & Commercial Work is typically used for laying services such as:-
Water pipes, Electric cables, Telephone, Gas, Ducts, Drainage Runs and Irrigation Pipes, etc.
